Front Brakes .......... Senior Moment

Hi guys & girls

Removed both calipers, carriers etc and overhauled them with seals, slide pins and pads due to the sticking caliper syndrome.

Can't now bleed brakes and I also think the calipers are on the wrong sides.

I assume that the bleed nipples should be at the top and not facing down, also can somebody tell me whether the pad with the wear indicator sits on the inside or the outside of the carrier?

On the calipers there is an L on one and an R on the other. This must mean Left and Right sided??

If so, I cannot fit the left caliper on the left side due to the pad retaining clips fowling on the caliper and visa versa on the right.

Could somebody post piccys of clip positions, bleed nipple position etc so I can get an idea where I have gone wrong.

As the title says......... Im having A real senior moment at the mo.

Many thanks in advance

Nick
