hi i want to change my standard head unit fo a double din one but i cant get it to power up or produce sound ive got the amp bypass lead from halford but still cant make any sence of it all could anybody help me please thanks rick

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

You need to have power to the unit or it won't produce any sound so if you can sort the power problem and providing the bypass lead is the correct one once power is connected you could be sorted.

You need to find the 12v supply, most units need a constant 12v supply and a switched i.e only live when the inition is turned on supply.
