Volvo Diesal S80 To Gs 300 ?

I've driven numerous Volvos for 20 years, the last one was an S80 diesal with 200,000 miles on the clock. I cam accross the Lexus brand and was amazed at how much car I could get for my money. Decides to hell with the fuel cost ( 1000 miles per week ) and go for one.

Just taken delivery from a private buyer of a GS300 SE3.0 Auto 200. One owner, full Lexus history and 101000 on the clock. Black in immaculate condition.

Hope I've made the right choice. Any tips?

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

I had a 1999 GS300 for a short while, very comfortable, very well put together and all the toys as standard.

Nice straight 6 engine with plenty of go and a super smooth auto transmission, it was that good I couldn't feel it change gears.

Nice to get hold of a genuine example with a single owner from new and FLSH by any chance was the previous owner buying another new Lexus?

If fuel does become an issue there is always LPG to consider but 30MPG isn't impossible.
