Rx400H Specs

I am looking at buying one of the above and was under the impression there were 2 specs, se & sel. However I have noticed in some adverts that the seller states Sr.

Is the Sr another spec?

This will depend on what age you are looking at.

At first launch (2005) there were 3 trim levels; RX400h, RX400h SE and RX400h SE-L

In 2006 the facelift for the entire RX series II included the 400h. Same trim levels, better spec and more options for the SE (Mark Levinson stereo option)

The SR trim level was added in 2007 which sits between the base and SE.

The SR was then updated in 2008, improving the spec

In the final year, 2009, there were two limited editions. They didn't take too long thinking up the names; RX400h Limited Edition and RX400h Executive Limited Edition

We have now put down the deposit on a rather nice 07 plate rx400h se-l version all singing all dancing top of the range in a nice metalic grey with black leather from a Lexus main dealer, so hopefully having paid just a little bit extra for the privelage of an approved vehicle we will have at least 1 years trouble free motoring and hopefully many more besides.
