Rear Disks And Pads

Recommended Posts

They look wicked - see that the matt black soon goes.

Doe you have the pads too? How do they perform say compared to the standard ones?

Also, whats the cost like and where did you get them from? Anywhere that does us a discount?

We have been using a new (to the UK) brand called DBA who make some mighty fine stuff.

The basic casting of the DBA discs appear to be better than the EBC discs, and they make rears, and they are a bit cheaper than EBC. Both the front and rear discs are drilled and grooved.

Hope this helps

Mark :)

ideas of price for a rear set for an IS2 would be appreciated.

And I am certain that a pm to me, with a special price for a gold members group buy would go down well also (Mat, Zee, Pee. J and I look interested) B)

whys that Imi...............

Due to the EBC Discs begining to warp for the 2nd time.. :crybaby:

This way if i try a different make, i know whether it's the car is at fault (which has been checked) or the EBC Discs that are at fault. :whistling:

must admit to liking the Black diamond ones myself. Heard that some people are starting to move away a bit from drilled and going more the grooved instead as performance is better. You loose let surface area and its supposed to work better.

Drilled and grooved just looses you even more - dunno if it helps or not. Might be able to dig out the thing I read - was on a brake manufacturers site, linked from a post on here somewhere!

Mat - jump in to say I'm talking toss if you like, I'd appreciate whether its true of not as it will help to choose some when mine go.

I only know a little - you know much much more - suck up or what!
