Newvcar With I Or Non Illuminated Needle Problem.

Recommended Posts

Just picked up my Lexus is250 SE-l today. It's a 2006 plate with 63,000 on the clock and full Lexus service history.

Bodywork is almost immaculate in blue.

Beige leather interior is fine although there is a little wear on the driver lumbar which I will look to fix over the next few months.

Only small issue I have with the car is that the speedo needle doesn't fully illuminate, the top half is fine but the bottom half is intermittent.

I imagine that these are LED and not bulbs?

Is there an easy fix or is it more likely a circuit board dry joint?

I have a friend that builds the circuits for aero space so he can fix anything circuit wise ubt I wanted to know if anyone knows of this minor problem.?

Cheers Carl
