Head Gasket

A FULL service history is ONLY applicable if it WAS a service item that failed & as a head gasket is most unlikely to be a service item then the warranty should still be valid

Many garages hide behind the no service no warranty rubbish. Consider this If its not a service item how can that affect a warranty & a head gasket is either blown or it isn't. There are no half measures with a head gasket it either needs replaced or it doesn't

Yeah but they'll argue that if it hasn't been serviced then the poor quality of the oil and coolant could affect the head gasket??

Really since when did the quality of the oil or coolant effect the head gasket? unless you mean a lack of coolant oil etc But that would be a considerable supposition on their part therefore not considered proof. If the car looks as if it has been generally well maintained the owner has a case
