Hi.

I found for my Lexus a Bilstein B6-Sport shock absorbers. They say that this is the best shock absorber ever made.

How are they? Definitely not Bilstein, as this is their entry level damper.

Have someone of you any experience/comment about Bilestein ?...

Bilstein are good quality, meaning; they last for a long time, without noticeable degradation.

But as for all other manufacturer; if you buy a product that is not suitable to your needs, you will get disappointed.

I would never buy an unadjustable damper, as the chance that it will work satisfactorily, is less then 1/10.

As said Bilstein suspension products are very good, they were oe fitment on my Griffith and other sporty and expensive motors, having said that if the fitment is not ideally suited to the car its being fitted to then you might as well not bother, adjustable units are good but you can easily make things worse by being able to fiddle and mess with them too much so I wouldn't discount a non adjustable unit if its of decent quality.

Finally.

Recived the four Bilstein and mounted yesterday, with also new discs and pads.

Its fantastic, in the corners are amazing. In 1 day i have done 300 km and its awesome. A litle more hard on the bumps but i will adapte to new style of driving.

I bought it here:

Best shock ever.
