Windscreen Wipers

Hi,

A strange question but does anyone know where I can get a replacement set of wiper blades from?

I've attached a picture of them. They are off my IS220d and I cannot find any which are close to these.

I want some like these as the ones I've tried either fall off the clips or son't look like they were made for the car!!

Any helps appreciated.

Drivers side is 22" and passenger side is 20".

Go for flat ones. More efficient and less noisy.

I just replaced the rubber strips. bought them from lexus for £20. was cheaper than buying bosch aero blades from Halfords

I do the same as Shepherd, Lexus Reading supplied and fitted the blades cheaper than getting them from Halfords.

I swapped mine for PIAA ones. Dont have the blade though, but made no different at high speeds

I have about 8 Sets of PIAA wiper blades at home.. PM me if you would like a set.

Same here, bought from Lexus Sheffield, cheaper than everywhere else.

I really like the look of the ones I had....they had a sort of cover over them which also made them quite flexible yet firm.

Does anyone know whether these are the original ones? If I go to Lexus and ask for some replacement rubbers are they likely to fit these? Are they easy to fit. I've had a quick poke getting the old ones off and I can't see how to.

Look like the original to me. They are not very expensive. With my discount they were £14. Not much point in going any further for me.

Are the ones that lexus supply flat? The only reason I got mine off that website was because I wanted flat ones. The OEM one's on my car were not flat.

why would you want flat ones. should they not follow the curve of the windscreen ?

They wipe the windscreen cleanly without judder......nuff said

They are not flat literally lol. The following diagram probably best explains it.

Pressure on the screen is evenly distributed with flat blades so there is no juddering or streaking and they are quieter than the normal ones too. In fact they are so quiet that you can actually hear the motor of the wipers.

Most of the new Audi's, Beamers and Mercs have them. Our CT200h has them too from factory.
