Thinking Of Returning To Lexus Again?

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I owned a Lexus is 200 in 2009 to 2011 and can simply say it was one of the best cas I've had in terms of drive wise and reliability. During my time of owning it I had no problems apart from wear and tear as expected. I bought an Audi a4 2.0.T Quattro s line after the Lexus and since owning the Audi I have spent £1500 on repairs and about another £500 on servicing.

I am now looking to come back to Lexus but not sure which one to buy after reading some threads about how the 220d has head gasket problem.

Which one would you guys recommend? What's the fuel consumption like on the 250?

If you want diesel than German (320d, A4 2.0 TDi, C220) is the way to go. Fuel consumption on the IS250 should be similar to your current car.

City 30 MPG

Motorway 37MPG

SEL multimedia (mm) will usually have

Mark Levinson DVD/CD player with surround sound and speakers by the barrow load(13).

USB port for iPod/phone connection.

Touchscreen display with HDD navigation

Those with HDD nav also have an inbuilt HDD which you can record up to about 2000 tracks onto.

Illuminated scuff plates

Heated and cooled front seats with full electrical control

Rear sunscreen/shade

SEi can have many of these features if the first purchaser opted to upgrade the spec. You will need to look closely at the car to ascertain what is there. I found descriptive mistakes by dealers when I was hunting down my 250.

That's a start. If I remember owt else I'll edit the post. Hopefully there will be others more knowledgable than myself to guide you.
