The Wheel Specialist Cwmbran (Alloys Being Refurbed)

Recommended Posts

Not a lot of people refurb with the diamond cut face, and even if you want it it can only be so many times. Not every company does it either as it takes special equipment.

I have a set in my shed I'm looking to get refurb'd, trying to find a company local that does diamond cutting.

I found a few places that do it, even know the Lexus 5 spokes very well, BJV do them for £200 for 4, come recommended too by a few people on here in the past.

I wouldn't go without as I do really like the diamond cut faces, adds that extra touch and looks factory fresh and standard.

But everyone has different tastes and chooses different finishes.

It's an expensive game! I also have 5 Aero's that I want to refurb for summer too!! And currently have the anthracite 11 spokes on the car. Need to quit collecting wheels haha!

Further advice please. Changing from my 16" to 17". The tyres on the 16" are 205 wide and the 17" are likely to be 215 wide (though the guy at the tyre place said the wheels will take 225) Will I need any spacers to accomodate the 225s? or anything or can they be fitted without any problems?

I'm on the fence with the diamond cut facing on the wheels. My car came with fully refurb'd wheels, which are all silver, not diamond cut, and on the one had I really like them like that. Then on the other hand, the diamond cut is a nice touch too...

I'm tempted to get my winter wheels refurbed, as they are in bad shape and looks a bit poo, and there's a place in Chelmsford doing 4 for 3 at the mo, so would be under £200 for all four, although I'd bet that wouldn't include diamond cutting the faces.

What's the BJV mentioned in an earlier post?
