1999 Front Left Wing Removal

Hello all,

I have a 1999 GS300 and have a need to replace the front left wing due to some dents when the front left lower ball joint assembly failed :megaangry: . So the front wing has a nice crease in it and some chipped paint. Lexus have quoted just under a hundred pounds for a replacement which was a nice surprise . As you might guess for this price it’s unpainted but that’s another story.

Anyway, is the wing just bolted on or are there some spot welds I need to drill out before I remove the wing?

Any thoughts?

Sadly not, this talks about a front 'Fender' which is the bumber as we know it, I'd like the front left wing to be removed.

Yep, that's what I mean.

Now I just need to know if it's spot welded or bolted on.

Should be bolted on , the ones on the is200/300 are.

The one at the bottom where wing joins sill is usually under the rubber anti chip coating, sometimes you can miss it.
