Suspected head gasket gone . . So I booked it in for the 70k service ... Was told.... You need a new engine sir as the head gasket it on its way out but ... Lexus will fit a new one for you free of charge :-D they said they'll need it for 5 days but I get a free loan car :-D ... Also said my rear calipers are seized and that Lexus will pay for them also

Did you buy the car from Lexus and did you have extended warranty?

Nope I bought the car from a small dealer in London ... I decided only last week to take out the Lexus extended warranty for 2 years as peace of mind on the turbo and other pricey parts But the engine ... I was told was within the 7 years and 110k mileage :-)

Or, maybe, just a FLSH in the service book. If it was it would have to be under 110,000 miles on the clock too.....or 7 years.

Yes I had 4 Lexus stamps and 2 non Lexus stamps ... It's the way they told me as well though ... Just .. oh you need a new engine by the way ... Will supply and fit it for you free of charge ... Is next week ok for you lol :-)
