Hello All

I have just agreed to buy a 2009 IS 250 convertible that is being sold as Limited Edition. Can somebody tell me how I can tell if it is or not? what is the differences between the models?

Thanks

I think it's basically an SE-L with red leather interior.

Just in time for the summer, a new Lexus IS 250C Limited Edition has been announced. Limited to just 50 examples, the coupe-convertible will feature black and red semi-aniline fine leather interior. Each Lexus IS 250C Limited Edition will come with a discreet numbered badge denoting its special status, fixed inside the glovebox. The Limited Edition will be based on the regular Lexus IS250C SE-L model, and comes with 18 inch alloy wheels, eight-way electrically adjustable front seats with built-in ventilation and heating, cruise control, electric one-touch easy access to the rear seats, climate control that automatically adjusts temperature settings when the roof is down and cruise control. The Limited Edition available now, with a price of £39,990 on the road.

Thanks Exdee

The one I am getting is 2009 and has all black seats. The front seats are electrically adjustable, don't know about the heating and ventilation though. Cruise control is there as well as the one touch access to the rear.

I just don't want to be paying money for something if it is not what the garage says it is.

The heated and ventilated seats controls are near the ashtray. You can check the glovebox to see if you can spot a badge that indicates it is a Limited Edition. You can also ring your local dealer with the reg number of the car. Tell them you are interested in buying the car and would like to confirm a few things. Ask them about the Limited Edition vehicle and what to look out for. The dealers are usually quite helpful.
