Just been looking at some other forums on LPG, and came across a comment about a Range Rover with LPG and then mention on flashlube.

So looked up flashlube and watched a little video.

What is that all about

http://www.flashlube.com/uk/company/how-flash-lube-works.html

Never seen it mentioned on this forum.

Any comments - or is it for engines not put together as well as the LS.

Its been on here many times.

Modern cars do not need Flashlube. Installers know this. If you had a car that needed Leaded Petrol as opposed to Unleaded petrol then yes you could have one fitted.

Thanks for that.

Personally I would have thought converting a pre-unleaded engine was a bit odd, as I understand LPG really needs a well sorted engine rather than ancient pre-90's set up. Flashlube or not.

As long as the engine is in good condition and serviced it was always OK for LPG to be fitted but you would need the Flash Lube fitted.

I had a Flash Lube fitted to my Reliant Scimitar which had a ford 2,8 V6 engine but didnt have harden valve seats and was run on unleaded petrol once you couldnt get 4 star anymore.
