Which Parts Needed For Cambelt Change?

Recommended Posts

have a look here first just as a starting point

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Timing-Belt-Water-Pump-Kit-Lexus-LS400-98-99-00-LS-400-/380623529314?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item589eee2562&vxp=mtr#ht_1672wt_904

and then hopefully someone who has had it done and tell you which parts they changed - then you can decide what to buy

Be careful! I used my 'normal' mechanic & it was a disaster & that was just changing the starter motor I even gave him the instructions of how to do it in writing (I have the manual on disc) so must assume he thought he knew best & ignored them. Needless to say I no longer use him for ANY of my vehicles.......Moral of the story is make absolutely sure they know what they are doing ask questions & if in doubt use someone else recommended by another member of LOC
