Is 200 Not Starting Battery Light Is Not Coming On

hi,i hope someone can help. i have recently bought an is 200 and its decided not to start it turns over ok but theres no Battery ignition light,can someone point me in the right direction?regards ian

all the fuses are fine, it would not start when I left it for five minutes to go shopping yesterday I opened the bonnet to see if I could spot anything obvious then the injection system sprung back into live and it started fine.drove home stopped and started it several times all ok,went to take my daughter to cubs cranked over but would not start I have no ignition Battery light all others ok no engine management light,but also today no security light at all I only have one key so cannot see if that's at fault.but why no main ignition light??immobiliser?

I have solved the problem.i took the cover off the efi relay it was not clicking on,changed the relay still the same manualy closed the contact it works but not from the key,so have rewired the switchable live I think that's the correct terminology and all works fine,ian
