I have just got a GS450 H SE (last week) and I am having difficulty on 2 points, one when I reset the trips A and B they do not reset the MPG or average speed, in fact all clocks show the same figures, am I doing something wrong or is this normal? also on the "Past Record" on the consumption screen the dates are showing 2011, I have selected clear to start new data but it still shows the same dates, please help.

Hi Gary, the MPG on the speedo display auto re sets when you re fuel, the average speed re sets every time you start the engine, trips A & B keep rising until you re set them by the button on the flip out pod near your right knee and finally there is are two reset buttons on the consumption touch screen. Yeah it is complicated, stick with it, not sure mine shows any dates on it?

Hi Tony,

Re-fueled yesterday and they stayed the same and I did reset A & B on the flip out pad but they are all (that is A, B, and ODO) still showing the same MPG although the A & B have reset the mileage to 0000, I have also pressed the two reset buttons on the touch screen but not driven since, Thanks
