Hi can anybody help I have a 1999 is200 what it is the pipe that comes of the thermostat to the bottom if the rad when the engine cooling fans kick in it seems to suck in when they go off it comes back out any body else had the same problem and of so what is it the car does not over heat and the heaters are roasting hot thanks

well what it is, I think your car is slightly pressurising.

when the fans off and car warm check the pipe you mentioned, it should be flexible a bit and not stiff.

dont burn yourself, use a cloth then check pipe.

its a guess but its what im assuming, do that then get back -
