here you go, Taken from my.is forum

is200 brakeicon1.png bleed step by step.

1. First park you car on a stable surface, prefably the garageicon1.png on cement or something level.

2. jack up the fron end and remove the wheels, place wooden 12 x 12 blocks underneath the front of the frame in front of the oil panicon1.png, also on each side underneath the control arms where the bottom of the strut is mounted.

3. Do the same on the rear removing the wheels and placing wooden blocks or jack stands under the rear control arms at the bottom of the shock and place some blocks under the rear diff for extra safety.

4. Now that you car is all blocked up roll down the drivers side window ( to pop the bonnet and so you can talk to your helper, Who ever you get to be the brake pedal pumper.

5.Pop the bonnet and, remove the cap from the brake fluidicon1.png reservoir on top of the master cylinder.

6. get a piece of pcv hose or plastic hose, clear is best. Find a piece that is a little bit smaller that the nipple on the brake bleed screw on the calipers. Also get a big container or any bucket you don't mind filling with the used brake fluid.

7. In order to get the plastic line to slip over the nipple easy and make a good seal, get a heat gun or even a blow dryer will work. Heat up the end of the plastic hose until it is soft and then ( with gloves if it is hot) slide it over the nipple and it will easily expand and form a nice fit over the bleeder screw. Now when you go to do the other calipers it will nicely slide on since it has expanded and formed to the bleeder once already. No need to heat the end up again.

8. Have a friend or someone that is smart enough to pump the brakes for you in the drivers seat, tell them to pump it up (press the brake pedal several times until hard ) tell them to say okay when done, then crack the bleeder with a 10mm wrench for a quick spurt and then re tighten, it will release the brake fluid. Repeat this several times until there is no air in the line. Making sure to keep the master cylinder reservoir full so that it does not get to low and allow air to get in the master cylinder.

9. The sequence you want to bleed the brakes

rear passenger side

rear driver side

front passenger side

front driver side

abs manifold
there is a little bleeder nipple on the bottom of the block, attach the clear line to the nipple and feed down to the bucket, you do not need to pump the brakes to bleed this just make sure you have an air tight seal on your brakesicon1.png and crack it open. Since it is downhill from the master cylinder it will gravity bleed itself. Close the nipplel once all the air bubbles are out of the system.

10. Now go and re bleed the entire brake system one more time except for the abs and you should be good to go.

11. It is also a good idea to get 3 litres of dot 3 brake fluid so that you can bleed the brakes until you have flushed all the crappy old fluid out of the system.

12. replace the reservoir cap after filling if to the max level line on the brake fluid reservoir, double check all the bleeders are tightly closed and replace and re install the dust caps on them.

13. re install wheels and remove the blocks or jack stands and you are ready to rock!

hope this helps someone who got air in there lines and doesnt have to go threw all the trials i had 2.

If you still have a mushy pedal repeat and if you cant figure it out take it to the dealer to be serviced by a proffesional, do not drive it with spongy brakes!
