Wheel Refurbishment

IS250.

60K coming up & the second set of alloys are beginning to blister in spots.

Have decided to get them refurbished & coloured a Metallic Gunmetal Grey.

Car colour is metallic Cardoxton Slate.

Wonder if anyone has gone for metallic grey wheels. If so could they post some pics please.

Mine are gun metal greyish... although they look Silver in this photo

Hi. Wheels look good. Wish there was a cover available for the locking wheel nut. Spoils the overall effect of any good looking set of rims.

Just had mine done in charcoal/anthracite by the Wheel Specialist in Nottingham

Unfortunately the colour on their website does not match the colour of the wheels..... (thewheelspecialist.co.uk)

I will take some pictures tomorrow and post them for info

I like the idea of doing the same with mine but how easy is it to get the centre cap to match?

From what I have seen the Lexus logo on the centre caps has 'plastic rivots" to hold it in place, by carefully cutting the heads off at the back of the cap the logo should be removeable with some care.

Have the centre caps sprayed with the wheels then refit the L logo using suitable adhesive.

They did them at the same time as the alloys.. £5 each.....

They certainly look better than my previous set with the silver centre caps...

You could always do them yourself using the method above..
