Photos Of Your Is-F

Recommended Posts

There are a few more of us about at the moment so let's see your 'F's. I may be biased but I think these cars are one of the best looking saloons around. I'll start and hopefully you will all keep 'em coming:

This was how it looked when I picked it up - hard to believe it was 5 years old!

Here's mine! Posted these before too, but what the hell. Mostly taken on trips to the Ring, love the one outside the BMW test centre.

Met a test driver there, he asked was the ISF mine, I said "yep, and I made it over on one gearbox and diff too", he saw the funny side in fairness to him!

Ah yeah it's epic around the ring, that's a mate in his Ferrari 575 and the photo is taken at the Karosell which is over 18kms into a lap, so to hold him off for that long wasn't bad going!

He did take me on the main straight, but I said I let him through!

All important that one!

Takes mt 2-3 hours to clean mine inside and out and wax it.

Really take a lot of care to open the boot, bonnet, petrol cap and doors to clean all recesses and cills. Also treat all plastics and use fast glass on all windows! I even wax the rear windon to help water beed and run off more easily.

This is before I start using bilberry cleaner on the wheels and polish what will be my new exhaust! Exhausting but i enjoy it.

I've said it before Stu, but we really are very similar in how we treat our cars! Lol. ;)

I take roughly the same amount of time to do mine, and use the same products for the most part!

I was disgusted at the state of the door sills, bonnet edges, and petrol flap when I first cleaned mine! :(

They were totally gunked up and looked awful! All sorted now though. :)

Have you done the inner boot rubber yet? ;)

Mine is awful! I've cleaned off the worst of the dirt, but still need to give it another once over with an old toothbrush and some APC.

What finishing polish do you use by the way? Did mine with the new Meguiars dark. Very pleased with it.
