Hello all,

Bought a couple of DS4 bulbs as one of mine is doing the turning off issue, however before I go ahead and replace them I checked online to see how to do it....seems straight-forward...however I also read that there's a high potential of electric shock! Is this right?

I know that the bulb housing would be electrified when live, however I would guess that as long as the Battery was disconnected and left for a bit to allow any charge to dissipate that it would be perfectly safe.

Any advice would be great.

I replaced mine over the weekend, left Battery coupled & lived to tell the tail. It's a bit fiddly but straight forward (followed YouTube examples). Had a shock when I started the engine to see warning lights come - Check VSC - and engine management warning. But turned off - went back in to have a coffee and check online - the reasons why - started the engine again and all was well.

Have fun.

Rob
