Hi

I have noticed that my windows do not wind down via the switches on the driver side. I own a IS220d se-l.

Can anyone guide me as to what the issue may be? i have recently had to replace the Battery.

Two of the windows wind down from the control on drivers side other 2 do not. They all indivdually open via the switch on the individual doors.

Hope i am sounding clear in my explanation!

thanks again for your thoughts.

Kully

They just need re initialising. Just go to each individual window go all the way down and hold for a second then all the way up and hold. they should work by the drivers side now :)

Hi! I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. My drivers window would not work at all on my 220d se-l 2009.

I tried everything - Resetting; reading codes; disconnecting Battery for a few hours; reading tips from here & WEB; doing all sorts of configurations with switches; resoldering joints on the Controller circuit board, everytime I got in the car I tried again - nothing worked.

The thought of spending a few hundred pounds prevented me from taking it to my dealer.

The day before yesterday I tried to reset my door mirrors, they weren't dipping in reverse. They only dip when the left hand mirror is selected - wierd!

Yesterday, I tried the window as usual & to my shock it worked! It's still working perfectly and I have a feeling it was something to do with my door mirrors when I reset them.

I would appreciate any feedback as I'm still puzzled.

Thanks,

Colin
