Moving From An Ls430 To A Gs450H

I've really enjoyed the old LS, but a few recent garage bills have caused me to say farewell, gearbox has packed up, £4,000 to fix. So, I am considering a GS,£9,000-£11,000, to replace it. Thoughts, anyone?

Yep buy my GS lol.... On a serious note and personal expierience ... I've regretted going from a LS to a GS.. They are nice cars etc etcbut I personally prefer the LS hence the reason I'm on the look out to return to the LS fold ASAP :)

Your best to test drive car.... My biggest gripe with GS is comfort.... I get a numb bum with a average drive but LS I could drive for hours with no complaints

No there have been several reports of this happening, the transmission intercooler fails allowing engine coolant toenter the transmission

Exactly as Steve says, not an April Fool, i wish it was. Coolant in the gearbox, consequence=one fried gearbox.

So it was the intercooler that failed not the gearbox.......until the coolant got into it.
