Hi all

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to soften the leather on the seats in a Mk1 Gs300.

My leather seems very hard almost like cardboard.

Does it just need some tlc or is it generally hard.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

These people make the best leather conditioner ever, even smells like leather, works just fine on my GS-300

Hi

Looks like liquid leather then.

Before I place an order as I will need a scuff kit, can anyone confirm what the correct name is for the grey leather in Mk1 GS300's circa 1995. I seem to recall it as being Cotswold but not sure.

Thanks

Keith

Can recommend the Gliptone aswell, used it on 15 year old cracked BMW leather ( including the colouring paste ) and have already "fed" the Lexus seats with it, softens them a treat.

Take your time doing the job as per the instructions - rush it and you won't see the best results.

I approached it a bit at a time, section by section - not so boring that way.

Another little tip is to work it in with a pair of marigolds on directly, much better than a cloth, gets your nieghbours worried though !
