Waxing Over Supervised...

Recommended Posts

Is it worth while do wax over supervised, will it make the protection longer lasting?

Just had the car superguarded and wondered if it was worth adding a coat of colinite 456 on top?

Whats supervised?

As for your question, it wouldn't hurt to try. I had my previous Lexus Supagard treated. They applied it well and all but it only lasted about 2 months if I recall correctly.

As far as Im aware, a coat of collinite lasts about 3 months so it wouldnt really hurt to try it. You may find it difficult to layer though.

Stupid iphone auto correct!

Ok, next time I clean it I may just put a coat on. As you say, can't hurt?

Stu

Yeah it wont hurt to try. Pure wax like collinite doesnt have any solvents or anything inside so should be fine. May not last too long though if its on top of supagard

That's what I was thinking. Will wash away quickly. I'll just leave it until beading is poor then continue with colli.
