Ive done the modifications to the rear suspension Coilovers..now the car sits lower than a slugs knackers

will start on the front tommorow

started bolting in the roll cage....... :yack: , what a pain in the bottom, the cage needs jacking and bolting to the floorpan under tension

the plastic window glass has been made, its some special stuff that doesnt shatter like normal perspex..looks good, should have that in sometime this week, along with the front and rear glass

ive gotta say, the car is solid.....its gonna be a real bone shaker out on track

hopefully have some more pics up by the weekend...

nope Jens still has his Ghay door trims....im gonna repaint them for him

my fat butt, i think wont have any influence on how much lower it will go, i had 2 peeps sit on the boot lip, and there was no suspension deflection.

so its kinda hard,,,,,erm very hard

as for being ready for feb, well that will depend how quickly TTE can sort the little problems with the electrics  (yep ones that were moved around) and also get the other few bits i asked them to do, done

wont be working crimbo day......or boxing day...but every other day will be busy as a bee.

the mini, is increadibly clean...its a stonka of a car, even more so when i get this engine set up

well ive solved one of the electrical problems.....the charging system, but amazingly this has thrown up some more "check engine lights"

sorted most of the plastic glass now....apart from the 2 rear ones which were cut wrong

the dash is all back together, the steering wheel is on ...properly now

and ive orderd a new seat for the drivers side, (wasnt going to sit in a cheap Sparco one, so got a nice spangly 5 point jobby)

the mounts, ive started to fabricate, and they look darn good, the passenger seat will still be a cheapo Sparco one, with dodgy mounts :winky:

well ALL the windows are back in.....including the glass front and rear windshields, what a pain in the ***** the rubber seals are for the windshield

solved one set of "check engine lights" but still get others when the accelerator is pressed

starting to fabricate the last fire extinguisher pull panel tommorow, ive fabricated the the covers for the rear speaker openings...and fitted them

finished painting the inside of the car, the little bits that needed touching up......

did a bit more of the roll cage floor mountings today, only 2 more to do.

painted the roof skin inside, it was still in undercoat

refitted front scuttle and wipers

still need to fit the rear right plastic window, should get that done tommorow, will also make up the mounting brackets for the Fire extinguisher bottle, and re do the brackets for the Fuse box's, inside the car

made up the Fire extinguisher braket to mount it to the rear seat base..

made up a garnish panel for the bottom of the centre console aswell. this now also houses the pull cable for the inside activator for the fire extinguisher

i got my new seat from Sparco bloomin nice, and very light aswell 6kg

this fits perfectly on the brackets i made, which amazingly line up perfectly with the TRD seat adaptors on the floor, just need to do some jiggling around then the drivers seat will be in permenently.

tommorow will get some updated pics.

so what will i be doing tommorow.............

well i still need to put in the right rear plastic glass(dunno why i keep putting it off)

will "P"-clip in the 2 Fire extinguisher cables, upto the bottle

will go a long way to mounting the drivers seat

will also start measuring up- for the aluminium floor plates for both driver and passenger.

need to also make up the aluminium skid plates for the bottom of the engine.....and gearbox.

im getting quite chuffed with it all now, as i know short of a few problems i have which will be sorted by TTE, the car is almost finished.......
