Hi after the car standing for 10 days ,in June! I used it & it slightly overheated. When cooled I checked & coolant/water tank empty I re filled no overheating & no problems. However 2 weeks later I checked again & tank was again empty, refilled again checked couple of days later again empty?! There has been no more overheating, fan comes on , no visible water marks under car, around engine etc. so can somebody please tell me where my water is going. No blue smoke from exhaust, oil is fine! 2004 lexus is200

There are a few possibilities. 1 may be that its leaking out from the water pump area and you may have a broken gasket. 2 the pipes from the water tank may be lose and when the water/ coolant isn't flowing it just leaks out. They may be other possibilities but those 2 you should be able to check on your own

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

If you are losing coolant it has to be going somewhere.

It appears to be going even when the car is stood which would seem to eliminate it being ingested into the engine so there should be some physical evidence like drips on the floor.

Places to check are coolant tank for splits/cracks, all hoses, radiator, heater matrix ( any unusual smells in the cabin?) and water pump seals.

If after checking all these there is still no obvious cause try putting some white card or paper under the engine compartment when the car is stood, it will then be easier to see if anything has dripped and where from.
