Evening,

I've had my IS220D since February with no issues until this afternoon. I went out to the car (had been stationary for approx 8 hours) to start - started fine, but I got "Check VSC" on the dash as well as the ABS & TRC lights. The fault was present for around 30 seconds, while the fault was occuring the PAS was Inop. I drove for appox 40 minutes with no issues. I switched the car off & on again and the fault was still present, although only for around 10 seconds.

I had a quick scan and couldn't see any similar faults posted. Anyone have an idea of what this may be?

Thanks in advance

Chris.

Changed the Battery last night, issue seemed to be cured. Covered 30 miles with no issues. Stopped the car & restarted - fault still present. Car is started 100% not slow to start but none of the electrics are working apart from dipped beam & rev counter.

Still at a dead end with this. Battery not charging, but alternator has been checked and is provided a charge, although the chap that is refurbishing it thinks the diodes may be on the way out. So, I have gone ahead and got it refurbed.

Will report back later on.

If not, any other suggestions? I will also give the earths a clean up too

Issue cured, absolute nightmare of a job replacing the fuse box. Took about 1.5 hours.

As for prices Amayama Trading £60 delivered. Lexus Belfast - significantly north of that & a local breakers £50 & delivered the next day.

Think what you did before 1st time your lights on dash appeared! There are hunderds reasons for all those Xmas lights to come on and stay there. I once fell up at a petrol station and after 5 min of driving all those hated lights came on. Took me 24 hours to realised that the diesel cap has a click when you close it but doesn't mean that always will close properly. It was loosing pressure and taking air in the diesel tank which i believe activated some sensors. I was lucky i guess but now I'm more careful when i stop for filling at the stations. Try this you never know. I was absolutely gobsmacked to realised that from such a little think my dashboard was lighting like a Xmas tree. :-D
