No cars have tax any more, after our wonderful HMG messed around with the rules.

As I understand it, the new owner must tax it from day one, so the crafty sods get revenue from all the part months, that can't be cashed in when selling, and from the buyer having to buy a complete month even if they only need a couple of days to the end of the month.

Wonder how much that adds up to over a year, several million quid I'd guess.

I just bought an IS250 SE-L last week and had to tax it. £285 for the year. I opted for 12 monthly direct debit payments.....total cost £299.25 !!! A bargain I'd say, much better than the premium previously charged for just a six month disc. So, not all bad !

The seller has no idea what it is either, let alone who owned/used it before! Saying that it's only a wrap so easily returned to original.

As a massive Alan Partridge fan (as in geekily so and have even been on "Alan Partridge Weekends" visiting filming locations with few mates!) Im tempted to but this and return it back to original condition! LOL
