Hi Guys,

Just a bit of a query regarding light clusters. I got my IS 200 about a month ago now it was four months old on a 51 plate. I have always thought the lights looked different to most IS200's as they seem smoked! is this a Lexus extra?? I have the body kit is it part of this?

Hi Andy. They revised the IS200 slightly a while ago and you've got the later model. All come like that now. There were quite a few changes inc the back lights, different grill, pipping on the seats, better dash materials, improved brakes and a few other bits.

Yeah, at least if you take into account inflation.

Sweden has seen a price hike but they now have 1 year free service included in the deal. So I calculate you are still paying for the x-tras

drove a courtesy car recently while mine was being repaired & I hated the normal mirror, the chrome round the speakers & the piping! Didnt notice that the brakes were any better?? But i did like the 3 spray washer nozzle & petit as it is.....loved the car park ticket holder in the visor!!:lol:

Just traded my 2001 Sport in for 2002 Sport. Preferred 2001 model. New dash materials look pants, black/gold was much better. Piping on seats is shee ite too. Brakes do seem a little sharper though. :yes:

Definatley know what your saying about the dash....I couldnt wait to hand back the courtesy car i had & get back in my sport.....maybe it just takes a bit of getting used to!
