Sounds pretty good to me, especially when you consider what you would have paid for a conversion a few years ago! Interesting to see how you get on with it.

Just as a heads up, the Ministry of Transport issued a renewed call for all mot testers to check for 'off road use only' HID conversions.

If the vehicle converted doesn't have auto leveling lamps and a cleaning mechanism then they are being told to fail for non-standard headlamps.

I'd run it past your normal tester to make sure.

Prior to buying said items I said to the MOT tester that would like to have HID lights but it's illegal?? He said that as long as the beam pattern and height he would pass it

Getting to fit these this month I live in bexhill and wondered if Anyone Knows of someone who could fit these for me as I don't wants on tackle this on my own even though it looks straight forward

Don't really see the point, it will end up a MOT fail without self levelling sensors and washer jets. HIDs are meant to have washers on the headlights for a reason.

A good quality bulb such as OSRAM night breaker would be adequate imo.
