Hi guys,

I'm a new owner of a 1 owner mk4 ls400. I'm in the process of fixing things that need doing (brakes, front bushes, fluids etc) and have found the below part snapped in half on the rear drivers side arm:

Afaik, this regulates the brake pressure on the rear brakes during heavy loads/bumps/hills. Does anyone know a lexus part number so I can order it from http://www.amayama.com/

I don't have a clue what the actual name is and can' find anything.

Welcome to the LOC.

I may be wrong but I thought this was for the headlight leveling. If it is I believe one of our members has made some. Give Steve 2006 a pm, I'm sure he won't mind me suggesting it!

Just done this very job for my mot, courtesy of Steve, and it's a simple bolt on repair.

Two things, mark position of old one and fit new in same position, having checked that length of new = length of old, if not, adjust accordingly, this will hopefully keep the correct adjustment for the headlights.

Secondly, I found it easier to carefully cut the old one off, using an angle grinder, as my fittings were rusted on solid, and the rest of the assembly is a bit lightweight to be riving away at rusty nuts and bolts.
