Differences Between Us, Japan And Uk Lexus Gs450H

Does anyone know whether there are any differences between a US, Jap or UK Lexus GS450H? Reason I am asking is because I am looking at buying a diagnostic tool and it lists US and Japan Lexus GS450H but not UK.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would be very surprised if there is any difference for the UK market as all markets use the OBD2 interface, I believe.

What diagnostic tool are you looking to buy?

I have an application for my Android phone called Torque which costs about £3 to buy. All you need is an ELM327 Bluetooth interface device (about £4 off eBay) to plug into your OBD2 port and you can easily cover most of your diagnostic needs.

I also use the Techstream software which does everything you could ever need.

That's interesting Giles, thanks. I do have a Bluetooth OBD plug in adapter but I was after something that was capable of resetting my steering angle sensor. Is either piece of software you use capable of doing that?

The US and UK vehicles are essentially the same, may be with a customisation or two disabled on the UK models and a few extra options available in the US. You shouldn't have any problems if the US vehicle is supported.
