  2. The space saver I obtained fits the front and rear hubs ok and turns freely so I will make a new dummy floor out of mdf so I can store the spare in the wheel well. I'll use the original Styrofoam tool holder as a pattern. Finished detailing my new car, took 35 hours to address the issues the dealer's car cleaners caused. The only panel not affected by them was the roof panel. I decided just to start over and do every panel. If I ever buy another new Lexus the dealer will be told to do the PDI after it comes off the transporter and nothing more. I would collect it with all the factory tape and plastic coverings and remove it all at home.
  3. Yes its at 2000 revs. 60 70 is fine but 80 90 is a bit noisy. In top. Sent from my BV5800 using Tapatalk

  9. Can't say if this helps but should be two screws where only one is seen.
  10. Must admit I do have a soft spot for the "look at me" Lambo colours like that orange (must be in the genes as my Mum at one time had a bright yellow old skool Mini Clubman and a weird light green Porsche Boxster) but I couldn't get orange past SWMBO (yet)
  11. Thanks all. TVR is old skool - one of the last wedges - a 400SE from 1991 which had a full body off restoration around 10 years ago - I will pop a picture on here when I've taken some - it's an event to drive it (a friend says you feel the exhaust note in your chest if you're following it) but I just don't have the time with 3 kids, a dog and a busy work/home life RCF pick up is next Sunday - F sport blue with black leather (we have white leather in our RX and I'm not sold on it) - also tried a white carbon but not a fan of the two tone/badger looks and the carbon body panels seem to be a magnet for stone chips etc
  12. Unfortunately the Gen 1 and 2’s don’t share the same parts. Do you mean it has the wrong profile tyres in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. Hi there John have you had this problem in your GS450 as i have had two GS300 both 2007 models with the same problem.
  14. Nice nuts 😛 where did you order from? Currently rocking cheap black slip on caps to decide if i want to swap out for black permanently or not...
  15. Are you using any child seat protector? Or is RX's leather sturdy enough? (assuming no isofix, seat is locked by seatbelt)
  16. The only time that I have felt strong regen is when dropping down a gear or two using the paddle for example when descending a hill. Could your effect be due to the traction battery running low and requiring charging?
  17. Cant help you with your mirror but i did cure my wind noise. Mine was caused by a trim clip missing from the outer windscreen pillar trim. I replaced the clip and the trim fitted snugly against the screen. No more noise.
  18. Does that include fitting and a night out with Kylie M?
  19. Not been away really. I still have the LPG powered SC430 but needed a cheap and cheerfull 4 door runaround. Up popped a MK1 GS 300 in Two tone White, Silver more or less on my doorstep. Its a bit rough but who cares. Its got mahoosive tyres on the rear and only slightly smaller on the front so looks a bit like a 4X4. Got to change them and give it a good beating withthe lowering stick. So far, so good and great memories of my other two. Its clunking on the front so i just need to know if the MK2 GS has the same front suspension set up. ie, ball joints, bushes, upper wishbones etc. Does anyone know?
  20. I don’t know the LS myself, but if I was a betting man, I’d say that is meant to be under the bumper skin, not on top of it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. We have a rearward facing Maxi Cosi Pebble plus and a Maxi Cosi Pearl in our GSF and RX450h. Im 5ft7 and find that there is just the right amount of room in the back as these seats seem to take up an excessive amount of room with their ISOFIX bases. Interestingly we had a BMW 218d Active Tourer 7 seater whilst on holiday and there was no room at all in the front with these seats in place.
  22. I'm having my wheels refurbished next week and I'd like to buy 4 Tyre Fitting Kits just in case the old ones are damaged when they are removed. Is the above part number the correct one for the GS300 (2007)? Can't find it for sale in the U.K. There's plenty for sale when searching for 'TPMS Tyre Fitting Kit' but how do I know which ones to buy? Has anyone on here bought what I want in the UK? Sami who started this thread appears not to live in the UK. Thanks.
  23. I would love to take you up on this offer for some beer tokens Steve! Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
  24. this is the pedal box that i've used its brilliant , lag is reduced making the car more drivable https://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/tuning/car/lexus/is-iii/300h-ave30_-181ps133kw-2494-ccm/#go
  25. Update! Didn't change for an F, but got the hybrid instead. As hoped, seats go in ok. It is a bit of a squeeze lifting little lad into the rear facing one, and ok for occasional use. Wouldn't want to do it on a daily basis.
  26. If I had the Soldering skills of this Man or lived near Steve in Cheshire I'd buy a RHD to replace my non-existant display. However... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uiroWBkdFY
