Its happened to me today for the 1st time ever :(

I'll see how it is over the next few days.

One of my front fogs had the problem since I brought the car, however it was replaced under warranty ;)

easiest thing is just leave the lights on for a bit and the heat should burn off the condensation.

Start of on main beam and then down to dipped and then sidelamp, just so the temperature doesn't fall rapidly and it should go

happened to me over xmas, i rang lexus stockport and told them and they ordered a replacement under warranty immediately and it was fitted the same week. i'd go for a replacement if you have any warranty left.

bump:

I have just finished washing the car and have now noticed the pool of water gathering in the back cluster, do you think that this would be covered by the Lexus Used car warranty?

i think it should be, but then i'm of the opinion that everything should work properly and if it doesn't, it should be covered by the 'unsuitable for purpose' legislation, which i recon water in the lights is anyway. there must be a solicitor in the club cos someone has to be able to afford the new lexus's that we all buy when they get down to our price! perhaps he/she could offer an opinion, the right sale of goods wording, and that stuff!

I think I'll just call and ask....

let us know how you get on.

i have some chrome rear clusters off my is200 sport which are about to find their way onto eBay very shortly.

Looking at the above reply, I tried to think what that bit of tape would do so I took my headlight off and did the following.

1. Besides indicator is a small 2" vertical gap = Filled in with clear silicone.

2. Below indicator is a breather (thanks mat) which is blocked off = Drilled out to look like other, and put sponge inside casing.

This has now taken every trace of condensation away (I had it that bad it covered the whole light!)

Well chuffed!! :driving:
