Coilovers Vs Lowered Springs

Ok,

Just a few thoughts for those of you thinking about changing the suspension on your IS's.

I've changed from Eibachs (-30mm) to TEIN Flex coilovers (with EDFC) and whilst a lot more expensive @ £1500 inc Gordon Browns nursery fees the difference in handling has been a revelation.

No more pitching or rolling..........roundabouts near me that I would go round at 40 mph max (car rolling a lot) at the same speed there is amazing turn in feel,and hardly any roll at all...........

The EDFC device is clever as well in that you can adjust the damping as you drive along !! also front rear bias all very trick.

So...........I'd recommend the TEIN edfc kit and suggest you wait a while & starve the kids send the wife out to take a night job in Safeways then go for a coilover kit !!
