I could well get flamed here :P , but whats your opinions on wood dash kits, i feel the IS200 is a sporty sort of motor ,and a wood trim is a bit more gentlemanly type of thing.

would it be so hard to recreate the dial markings on the wood or something?

anything other than leaving hiuge areas of black plastic so you can see the heater positions etc.

You can get very similar kits from Halfrauds. Its in with the crap exhaust trims and rubbish gear knobs. Think that explains enough about the standard of the finish....

Yes ,think i might just have a bit of a wood fetish :o ....let me take you back to my early driving days..... most of my early cars,Triumph Herald, Vitesse, Toledo,Dolomite, 2000 and 2.5TC all had wood, then once i moved into Toyota's, i had plastic wood, Celica 1.6 ST and GT, 2.0 ST, XT and Toyota Crown, maybe i need help ,every time i see wood dash kits , it takes me back....way back :D .

Only on Ye Old 35mm ;) , my scanners not up to a good copy of that !.

She was a MS112, 2.8 facelift model ,in metallic Brown with cream interior trim,lovely big motor, a LS400 of the 80's :) .

as mat says the thing that really letf it down is the cut out for the dials etc, its not hard to put the settings on the kit is it.

i remember an ex member had the carbon fibre kit, from a distance it looked ok but up close it was horrible.

I suggest this if you have a wood fetish................. you can even use Ronseal on it !!! :P :P
