European Nav Software For A Us 2006 Rx400h?

Recommended Posts

Just bought a 2006 RX400h in the US and shipped it to Europe.

Lucky devil! How much did you save?

The NAV system has maps covering US only.

Where can i get maps over Europe?

At your local Lexus dealer, of course. Be prepared to pay a bunch of money.

Is there an ISO image of the DL DVD disc available anywhere on the net?

Please help me out..

Leaving aside any legal consideration (I'm SURE you DO know that copying a DVD you don't own is not legal and you're just asking out of curiosity :whistling: ), I've never ever seen anything the like on the net.

Besides, there are issues with the compatibility of the different versions of the DVD's available.

Sometimes a dvd shows up on eBay, but given the above mentioned difficulties, I'm pretty sure that your choice to buy the original from Lexus is the best one! :winky:

Well. then you can buy the whole dvd factory! :D

Congratulations once again!

Would like to know why there's so much difference in the price of Toyota/Lexus cars between US and Europe, but that would be slightly :offtopic: ...

Renato, did you get a resolution to this problem? My dad just imported a 2005 RX400H from the US to europe and is in the exact same situation.

I'm not sure if there are any dealers in Norway, if so and they are near it may be worth popping over with the vehicle to see if they can try the EU disk in the vehicle while you are at the dealer to see if it works, if so you know that you can then purchase one and it will work ok, otherwise if it doesn't work you know you have to buy an aftermarket system.

You could also try contacting them on this link:

That's strange.I just paid £120 for the latest disc from my Lexus dealer. That means by your calculation your Sat Nav disc cost you minus £80

Now that's what I call good value for money.
