Hi,

Sorry to dig this up again, because it didn't fit with my experiences, so I just made a check (and sorry to question the authority of one of our most senior members ;) )

Pics for corroboration:

Labels inside the rim (please note it also says "NL", and I don't know if this means "Netherlands" in this case):

Measurement of the distance from mounting surface to outer rim:

Measurement of total rim width:

So...

Total rim width divided by 2 minus distance mounting surface to outer rim equals: 206/2 - 53 = 50

---------------

Why did I feel it wasn't 45? Offset 40 rims with 225 tyres on the back would rub on my IS whereas 235 tyres on the original rims would not (but only just, no archer rolled and 30mm lowered). 235 tyres only stick out 5mm more so the difference in offset would have to be more than 5 between these rims. It checks out :)

Cheers,

RX-Men-8
