Made a brave move today, replaced the winter snow tyres, with the summer Yokohama's...whether its too early only time will tell!! I can report that I've done 3000 miles on the winter tyres, no change in fuel consumption, possibly a softer ride, down to the '55' profile, but best of all better grip and traction through out all the snow we've had. Would I recommend winter tyres..yes, and before I bought them last november i was sceptical about theyre worth, this winter has proved them.

Had my 70k service done by Lexus Stockport in January for £150. Valeted and a box of sweets. Result.

the other piece of the factory fitted coax aerial ??? my 98 ls400 didn't have the optional carphone installed, but I want to use the factory aerial wiring on an aftermarket installation. I've found a coax connection under the boot liner, which I presume runs to the antenna built into the rear windshield. I seem to remember that there should be another lead that runs from under the centre armrest console back to the boot - but ive searched the boot and also lifted the centre console armrest and its not there,! anyone know where it might be?

Well lets end this... If you buy a stock is200 eninge and replace the con rods pistons crank vavles remove the vtti ect and fit a turbo does that make it a different engine NO its just a modded 12jd7gte engine what what ever its called...

Right im confused now if the block and head are the same then there the same engine.
