  3. Re. Wiper heaters are standard across all IS 2nd Gen models IIRC."How do they work/what do they do on my MY2011 IS250 F-Sport? Where is the "on" switch? Argento They were removed from MY2011 onwards so your F Sport will not have them

  4. When ever I wash my car I always get the hose pipe out and clean around the rear wheel arch lip removing any built up dirt, its amazing how much collects around the wheel arch if never cleaned.

  5. I think if you are keeping it long term are confident and competent in doing the servicing yourself it makes little difference on a 12 year old car no matter what the make. Even if you sold it would you recoup the cost of that dealer service in the selling price, no. When I bought mine at 12 years old I never received any service history with it as it was a JDM import, took a chance I know but to date I have never had a serious problem with it and from looking around it I came to the conclusion it must have been serviced as items like the brake pads were all OEM Toyota and with plenty of wear left on them. I have only used an independent garage once for the cambelt as the price they quoted was too good to refuse ( they realised after 10 hours!) I plan on keeping mine until it falls to bits so service history won't come into it and I know it has been done right plus a £500.00 dealer service on a car worth perhaps 3 times that is not viable.

  6. Maybe not Manifold £150 Welding - free if you do it? Turbo £100 for second hand Black box will do if staying below 0.3 bar - £70 Intercooler - £100 Pipework and hoses - £100 Filter - £50 Down pipe fabrication by exhaust shop - £150 to £200 That's if you search for parts, and fit it yourself.
