  1. Hi all, I have a RX300 SE 2004REG, UK SPEC, 41K miles, The car runs on LPG have LPG since 25k mile, Now 42k miles, 1prev owner The engine managment light + VSC light is on One morning the car will not move forward nor move backwards, Ill have to floor the acceleration to get a slight movement either way. I abandoned the car for two weeks while I search for solution, went back into the car 2weeks later and I manage to drive it all day as if nothing had happened. Took it straight to Lexus Sidcup for full service and diagnosis/Investigation Lexus could not find what the problem 'cos: 1.They claimed that the they can only diagnose/fix this issue whilst the problem is active{sounds like bull **** to me} 2. They claimed the engine managment light + VSC light cannot be cleared and its a known issue with LPG fitted Lexus RX300 I've got the car fully serviced with transmission fluid changed but I still have this intermittent transmission failure. SYMPTOMS OF MY TRANSMISSION FAILURE: Unable to drive off from temporary stop once in a while, i.e while a traffic stop/light and Ill have to switch off the engine, restart the car to get it moving again The car drive slowly early in the morning like a cold engine warming up and get normal after a while Ill drive into a car park normally, and while trying to reverse park becomes impossible or Ill have rev sooo high to reverse park the car This is so worrying for me 'cos I dont wanna get stuck on the motorways one day, although I have AA backup Could it be the transmission Shift solenoid ? ANY ONE ELSE HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM, YOUR CONTRIBUTION WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED. THANKS IN ADVANCE

  3. Advertise it here in the for sale forum and make use of your Gold membership with free classified advertising. Prices vary but by looking in Autotrader at similar models and mielage you should be able to price accordingly just be prepared to haggle! So spill the beans are you staying with Lexus or defecting? :D

  5. Try using a Clay Bar between the washing and polishing stages. This decontaminates the paint and leaves a glass-smooth finish.

  6. Have to agree, most light cars paintwork will never look as good as dark ones, on the plus side dark cars do show up defects, dirt etc more and require more work if your like me.........fussy :D . I would have loved a Mica Blue Sportcross but I'm really glad I have mine in Platinum Ice now as my back can no longer cope with extended cleaning sessions. Having said all that I was really pleased once I had got to work on mine as the Platinum Ice has a really nice metallic sparkle to it in the sun.

  8. Front bumper is a C-West bumper isn't it Martin? You should see the back of Martins car, quad exhaust! Looks brilliant! Although I'm not allowed to do that mod as I've copied his car too much already apparently!
