  1. Hi Nice blue finish the paint quality on these cars is great. Yes the drone is none existent, took my Lux out today for a run on dual carriage way, flawless absolutely flawless. The keyless entry is standard on the Lux and I thought for certain on the F Sport. Are there two dimples on the front door handles top and bottom? If yes you touch the top and bottom dimple to lock and then open the car by gripping the handle, there is a sensor strip on the inside. With the key in your pocket it should open. The key fobs still have traditional lock unlock buttons and boot release. The range of the key less entry is 0.78m or so the manual says, I reckon you have it. My dealer was reluctant to let me pick up today and spent some time on Friday afternoon going through everything including the key less entry. I have had since Friday evening yesterday and today to get to grips with the technology things like an I Pod and a phone being connected by Bluetooth caused a problem, seems there can only be one connection via BT at a time.

  2. Good question but I don't have an answer, however I'm sure some GS owners will come up with the solution in due course. In the meantime welcome to the LOC.

  4. that's true, the chalk test wont be full accurate. guess will have to wait about 10k then - - less throttle required with these high pressures so I am assuming less fuel. but as I say, cars lowered might benefit from this pressure. not sure though - testing testing - -

  5. LPG cost a grand to fit and thats on the cheap, unless youve bought the car with it, its a investment that should be given some thought. Personally i dont see the point LPGing a IS200. A V8 yes

  6. There is only one way to go and that is LPG. I am paying 65p per litre its a no brainer. Mike

  7. Hi, I'm looking into buying an IS200 at the moment and the economy was my biggest worry.. Pretty much all I use my car for is motorway miles travelling from camp to home and back, but if some of you guys are managing over 400 miles to a tank that is brilliant! I currently drive an MG ZS120 (1.8) and at my most economical driving I've only seen 342 miles from a tank! My ZS tank claims to be 55L but I have only ever managed to stuff 45L inside it (from pretty much dead empty, to click), how much can the IS tank actually hold? After working out on the calculator my ZS averages 34.9MPG, and I drive on motorways/bypasses where ever possible and avoid towns as often as I can.. I imagine that the IS200 is also somewhat more pokey than the ZS should I decide I don't feel economical at that moment in time!

  11. It's already been mentioned on the (other) Facebook IS200 group. Put it in the events section Stuart :)

  12. It's probably worth putting it up on the LOC facebook group too Stuart as I think there's quite a few people there who aren't necessarily on any of the other forums or FB groups :D

  13. Hey paul I bought an is200 about 2 weeks ago now and when I bought the car it was silent but the next day it began to knock loudly drove it for few days no different. It eventually got worse and EML came on. So bit the bullet and got a new engine on removing the old engine I dropped the sump of to reveal metal shards in the sump and the bottom of a piston rod in the sump also. Thats my experience so far . Jus to add I change my oil and filter also before hand and it came out like glue and was dark green so the previous owner was hiding this problem
