  1. Normally I wash wax and polish it myself but the inside needed a good going over so i went the lazy route and took it for a mini valet then took some photos before it could get rained on, its the first time i've taken new photos since I swapped the headlamps for darker ones, so they add to the darker rims, darker side repeaters and black grille:

  3. good choice B) If they are GS Sport wheels, either mk1 or mk2, they will fit no problem. You'll probably find you'll want to drop the ride height a little soon enough also :)

  4. After my recent tale of woe with my air con failing, I looked on line for my nearest air con outfit and Halfords came up. Never been much of a Halfords fan but I have to say they did a fine job today. They did a vacuum test on the system to check for leaks, re-gassed + UV dye. At the moment they're doing it for £44.10. which seems fair. On the way home I tried to see how cold I could get the car, it got so cold I couldn't stand it any more, my fingers were literally aching with cold! Shame summers on the way out!! PS When they gave me back the key they said "That's a nice car you've got there" So because of the compliment, I forgive Halfords for all the times they've charged me so much for basic stuff. Oh, and the time they blanked us when we went to buy a child seat. You are forgiven....for now! Phil

  5. Did a bit of reading on the Queensland RAC website. It implies that aircraft benefit as they have cold tyres (from 35,000ft) that hit the runway and go from 0 to 200mph in an instant, so nitrogen is 'good'. So I had an idea. Get the Lexus on a Galaxy C5, come into land and get them to drop me off the tailgate a few feet off the ground, I'll have taken the limiter of the LS and so should be able to keep engine going at 180+mph. Then if all is fine once I have stopped and tyres are in one piece then I will recommend Nitrogen to any budding stunt LS drivers. If anyone else feels like trying this, then let me know - saves me having to find a spare weekend!?!?! What flowers would you like? Mike Lupins will be fine - I understand that they are good at fixing the nitrogen (that will come out of the bursting tyres) back into the soil

  6. Hello and welcome to the LOC. It sounds like you got yourself a very good deal with the LS400 especially with good service history and the low mileage. A friend of mine has just scrapped his 300d V registration Mercedes as it needed £2.5K just to get it through the MOT, the year before he had 2 new wings and all the suspension replaced! Pity we don't get No Claims Discount on breakdown cover I should be on a 65% discount in the 6 years I've had my LS. Enjoy the Lexus experience the only way is up!

  7. The weights they put on are catching on the brake caliper. They need to take them off and reposition them Goodluck Mike

  8. Hello and welcome to the LOC. Bump means your topic gets moved up to the top so more people will see it and reply. According to Toyodiy.com the 2 part numbers you have quoted are the same item and will fit your car. I would order the cheaper option part number 48530-80413.
