  1. With baby: I think CT200h will struggle, boot space regarding buggy/pushchair. Even room at the back/headroom is tight/ depending on the height of the baby seat. I dunno whether the baby is forward facing or rearward facing, but either will be tight. With 5k budget, i would say go for things like honda civic

  2. Hey Guys, I picked up an RC300h Takumi edition on Friday, loving the car so far and getting about 42mpg.I love the red paint in the sunlight! I made a first impressions video on it if anyone wants to check it out? Thomas 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXV7cLsSQJM&t=3s

  3. Just collected my new RC300h, now in Azure Blue, replacing my Sonic Red 2016 model. First impressions are, it's noticeably quieter. There is much less 'milk-float' whine on deceleration. The car will accelerate much longer on electric, the car switching to battery power more readily in general driving. The Mark Levinson sounds much fuller than the standard audio in the 2016 model, which wasn't poor in any respect. The Sat Nav has been improved no end, much easier to set routes etc.. Filled the tank with V-Power and looking forward to exploring the suspension and steering upgrades

  4. Hi everyone me and the good wife decided to take the dog to south coast beach hayling island this morning good blast down m3 few hours on the beach ice cream etc then a back roads blast up A3 back to reading . Just clicked on to 300 miles on the trip and just under half a tank left showing .now my question is do these drop like a stone gauge wise as it goes below half way . Also as we were getting on m3 at basingstoke the wife says it's a lovely ride but the car feels slower than the avensis even though you see the speedo needle raising up ok . Ok i said let's see how it goes then floored it for the first time from 30-70+ up slip road .she had a big smile and went omg lol ,well that's the fuel saving gone when she get back behind the bloody wheel lol.

  5. Japan and Europe are both DVD Region 2. Their TV system standard, however, is NTSC (60Hz), not PAL.(50Hz). Maybe that's the issue.

  6. Not fitted as far as I'm aware (I'd love to be proved wrong).

  7. Take a look perhaps at the Toyota range.or given the man's height take a look perhaps at a Ford Fusion. Nicely spacious, cheap to run. Ran a couple of them a few years ago and certainly nice and spacious and reliable. At that time they were unfashionable and cheaper than a Fiesta but people cottoned on to this and prices firmed up. Just looked at a 20000 mile 2012 nice spec 1.4 petrol at £4695

  10. I had the same problem on my 460. It turned out that the original owner had fitted a tracker which I didn't know about. You might like to get an electrician to test the system to see if there is a permanent drain on the battery.

  11. Just done over 2000 miles on a French holiday and found the fuel gauge to be fairly linear from 90% to 10%, it lies at first and doesn't drop quickly from full and the fuel light seems to come on with about 10 litres left in the tank too. I averaged about 35 mpg as well.

  12. When many moons ago I was in the police you could leave the car parked and running with key removed to stop the battery going flat with all the blue lights on, but as soon as you touched the clutch pedal the car stalled and wouldn't restart without the 🗝️. Just a shame about the cars overheating 😂

  15. Exactly my thoughts, because the guy works at / behalf of the body repair shop and not the garage for servicing / engine related issues that was his excuse of not looking at the engine then again how many times you see independent car body repair shops with bonnet opened / missing lol the Toyota / Lexus garage is in Rayleigh, Essex tbh they are usually quite good I guess there is always one or two people this isn't so good as you say main dealers aren't always great at times. Yeah removing a cover from the scuttle panel (a cover that's for the Relay shouldn't of been there because someone left it there and not put it back on where it should of been) the bonnet gap has gone !

  16. Thanks for the info. I like the black windows, that's one reason I made an offer in auction. Here is some interior photos and that sticker showing cam belt change. What are these? There's four of them in the winshield. Looks like that the emblems in my Celsior are painted

  18. Another way to bring down the cost of a Lexus service is to become a Gold member of this site, saving 15% on all Lexus costs, or around £94 on a major service alone.
