IS 200 S SE and SPORT!
Have exaclty same engines etc!
But there are aystetic differences!
i.e 17 inch wheels, window tints, leather interior, alloy pedals, alloy door sillys etc!
I had the same prob and it had nothing to do with the mats!
I would be booting the lex on a motorway and the accelerator would keep accelorating when I let go, like it was stuck or something!
Took it to lexus and the throttle body needed cleaning and it has never happened since been a year now so it must have been that!
Or the mats on the cars above LOL!
Shell V power is great!
But I use Tesco 95UL!
I think its all psycological to be honest!
MOBIL 1 0W 40 fully sythetic or Shell Helix 0W 40 works great!
I have the SE!
So far I have tinted my windows!
Got the sport etching or rear quarter panel glass!
New lip spolier!
Sport Grill!
I just need Silver pedals, Door sills & poss lower it 20-30mm and it will look just like a sport!
I get 400 miles on a full tank 98% of the time!
very light foot I get about 440!
They are 70% Motorway 30% Urban driving!
Most I have ever got is 490 miles one tank motorway driving!
I got the same smell on my IS200 after long journeys!
Tyres were fine so i assumed it was exhaust/CAT!
My last 2 MOTS the emissions were brilliant 0.02 or something which the guy said was very low!
My mate also has a 328CI and he gets the same smell!
Have no idea what it is!
I change OIL/FILTER every 8-10K
Service every 20K
2 major jobs are camblet which needs changing at 100K or 6 Years!
Spark Plugs usually changed every 60K as they last 60K being Iridium tipped!
Dont know about used!
But I got a new rear lip spoiler painted to my lex specs for £54
And Lexus are now selling the IS 200 Sport Grill for £34!
Those items are brand new and I would get new rather then used!
