Hi all Does anybody know of a Lexus breaker who may have a Sat Nav unit for a 2000 'X' IS200 SE?? My screen and remote still work, but the unit in the boot has given up the ghost. Lexus dealer has quoted me near on a grand to supply and fit a new one!! I have checked on eBay for weeks now and have only seen one and unfortunately I was out bid. Cheers

***** that's cheap!! Lexus @ Exeter quoted me £160 for the key and a further £60 to code it!!!

Hi I think you were quite lucky with that! I tend to average around 25mpg on urban running and somewhere between 30 - 40mpg on motorways. How old is your lex?

Not as much as I thought it would. Still get the lovely kick back in the seat feeling at 4500rpm...smoother yes! I did replace the filter just after the 100000 mile service so the Lex is running as sweet as the day it came of the production line. I got some filter oil off eBay for about £1.75 + P&P......the bottle should last a couple of washes (about a year then!).

Me too and it is very easy to replace. :D :D Arrived today and fitted in approx 1 minute!!

I wanted to change the air filter on my SE Navigator to a K&N but cannot find any info in the handbook on how to accomplish this task. Is it fairly strightforward for a novice mechanic like me to do? Also does £35.99 sound a good price for a K&N filter?
