cancel that, just read previous posts and have successfully reset it

if my sunroof (refuse to call it a moonroof) is fully open i have to keep pressing the lever continuously forward to shut it, if i dont let go just as it shuts the tilt opens, i then have to continuously hold the lever back to shut this and if i dont let go exactly as it closes the roof starts sliding back open again and so on........ is this normal??

On back of rear view mirror the electrical wire enters into an area approx 1.5x1cm that looks like it should have a cover over it. I recently had to have my dashboard replaced and wondered if somethings been knocked off? Would appreciate anyone enlightening me. thanks

i've had my rx400 2 months and am delighted. I've found the phone system excellent. I've had no problems with the mic or speaker and people seem to hear me very clearly. Yes you cant access your phone book whilst mobile but this is for obvious safety reasons. You can however preset speed dial numbers - basically you press the phone button on the steering wheel and the speed dial page comes up automatically on the front screen. You then press the pre-programmed button once and your away. I'm not sure how many numbers can be pre-programmed like this but I find it more than adequate.

1000 miles up on my rx400, leather on driver's seat squeaks whenever I turn sharp right - is this to be expected with leather seats?

just picked up my rx400 last week, fantastic, best car i've owned. Want to carry bikes but cant decide whether to go for towbar or roof mounted rack. has anyone used a roof system where the holder swings down to make it easier to put the bike on?

anyone had one of these fitted? If so any info on where & price most welcome. Is it visible with the ball detatched? I'm only planning on towing a small trailer and using a towbar fitted bike rack.

can anyone recommend a bike rack. I want to carry up to 4 bikes, ideally on a towbar rack rather than roof

awaiting my rx400 at present, read a review in the sunday telegraph yesterday where the journalist stated "despite possessing a galaxy of advanced electronic stability aids for its complex transmission system, the RX400h has got the nastiest case of torque-steer - where hard acceleration pushes the wheels out of line - of any new car in recent years." I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of those who've been driving it for the last week or so.

Have been reading about the new rx400 for a few months, never owned a lexus before and currently drive a mitsubishi shogun. Took a test drive in cardiff last weekend - very impressed particularly with the power and ordered one there and then. Must say I found the silence at start off and low speed cruising very strange at first. The test vehicle was in black with sussex leather which I didnt think showed off the aluminium to its best - i've gone for the aleutian grey with black leather. My wife was also impressed but wished they did it with the wood finish rather than aluminium! Unfortunately been quoted a delivery date of December or January. ps. I need to upgrade my mobile - can anyone recommend a bluetooth handset that interacts fully with the EMV system?
